Activity: Fireless Cooking

The students of the Pre-Primary Section participated in a fun and interactive fireless cooking activity where they prepared a simple yet delicious snack using the following ingredients: Monaco biscuits, boiled potatoes, chaat masala, salt, tomato ketchup, sev
The children were guided step-by-step by their teachers to create a savoury treat using these ingredients. First, they mashed the boiled potatoes and seasoned them with salt, and a pinch of chaat masala. This mixture was carefully spread onto the Monaco biscuits, serving as the base. A dollop of tomato ketchup was added on top for a tangy flavour, and the preparation was garnished with crunchy sev for an added texture.
The children were thrilled to see their creative culinary skills come to life. They enthusiastically decorated their snacks, making each one unique and colourful. The activity not only encouraged their participation but also boosted their confidence as they showcased their creations to their classmates and teachers.
This fireless cooking session proved to be an enriching experience, teaching students basic cooking skills, the value of teamwork, and the joy of making something with their own hands. It was a memorable and fulfilling event for everyone involved.
