A workshop on “Handling challenging behaviour of students in the classroom set up” was conducted on Friday, 8 th December 2023 at KEM Hospital, Pune. The speakers for the workshop were, Ms. Sharmila Patil, a leading paediatrician and clinical psychologists, Ms. Bindu Patni,
Ujjwala Nene and Dr. Amruta Bhalerao. The workshop was attended by Ms. Trupti Patil, Ms. Anita Rege, Ms. Pratiksha Sadafule and Ms. Snigdha Sarkar.
A short presentation of the same was done for the Pre-Primary teachers on Monday, 18 th March 2024. The presentation highlighted the common behavioural challenges in toddlers, preschoolers and older children, dealing with behavioural triggers, types of learning disability, social communication delay, ADHD and its early identification, clinical assessment and diagnosis.
The workshop emphasized the pivotal role to be played by teachers in the identification of these issues, adoption of positive discipline techniques and seeking of professional help by taking parents into confidence.
A workshop was conducted on Tuesday, 19 th March for the pre-primary teachers byMs Shalini Khanna and Ms Mrs Veera Chaudhari for the NEP based curriculum textbooks by Zoom publications. It comes with a well-planned bridging of pre-primary years with grades 1 and 2.
The main objective of Zoom publications is quality education and to make learning a joyful experience for the students. They also explained the user friendly digital content for parents and teachers.
