Report:
The students of the Heritage Club assembled in class VIII D for attendance-28 students were present. They were briefed about the techniques of Warli art and various videos pertaining to the same were displayed on the smart boards as they observed and recreated the designs using their creativity. Students were asked to prepare the base using the brown acrylic colours that were provided to them.
The teachers then assisted and guided the students in choosing appropriate designs and patterns on the basis of the medium chosen by them for their art. Once the students set their designs to dry, they then began to create designs and patterns based on a theme as per their
choice. The students chose from a variety of themes like main festivals, harvesting, folk story, celebration, and marriage.
The students learnt how these creative art forms help enhance their concentration, develop their fine motor skills and eye hand coordination. This also helped peer learning and teamwork.
