Report on Activity for the month of November – Origami Dog
Date: 17th November to 21st November 2025
Participants: Sr. KG A, B, C, D
“Every fold is a step closer to beauty, patience, and the art of simplicity.”
The Sr. KG students participated in an origami craft session as part of the November month activity where they learned to fold paper to create an origami dog. The activity aimed to develop their fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and ability to follow basic instructions.
Each child was given a square sheet of brown coloured paper, and the teacher demonstrated the steps one by one. The students folded the paper diagonally to form a triangle, then turned down the top corners to create the ears, and finally folded up the bottom tip to make the snout. They decorated their dogs by drawing eyes, a nose, and other facial features with black crayons. The activity was completed with minimal assistance.
The origami dog activity combined fun with skill-building, making the craft session both enjoyable and educational for our little Vikheites.
