On Friday, 31st July 2026, two teams from Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune participated in Punar Nirmaan 2026 – An Inter-School Turnaround Entrepreneurship Challenge hosted by Kothari International School, Kharadi, Pune. The event brought together young innovators from various schools, offering them a platform to showcase their analytical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills.
The first team, representing Grades 9 and 10, comprised Aria Dhakade, Tanishka Agrawal, and Akshara Kharwandikar, while the second team, representing Grades 11 and 12, comprised Mahika Sama, Shubham Patil, and Paarth Nair. Both teams participated with great enthusiasm, confidence, and a strong spirit of collaboration, making the school proud through their dedication and performance.
Participants were given a real-world business case study and 90 minutes to analyse the problem, identify its root causes, develop a business turnaround strategy, and present their recommendations before the judges. The challenge tested their critical thinking, creativity, decision-making, and ability to work effectively under time constraints.
The competition proved to be an enriching learning experience, enhancing the students’ analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills while providing valuable exposure to business strategy and entrepreneurship. It also inspired them to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and confidently take on future challenges.
We sincerely thank our Principal, Ms. Mrinalini Fernandes, for providing us with this valuable opportunity. This enriching experience strengthened our confidence, enhanced our analytical and presentation skills, and inspired us to participate in many more such competitions.
