A tribute to the Father of the Nation

To commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur shastri a spectacular celebration was held at Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune in the form of special assembly conducted by the students of Middle school.
In order to pay our tributes to the leader of non-violence and to give a deep insight into the life of Mahatma Gandhi, the students articulated Gandhi’s ideology and contributions towards Indian independence. The children shared anecdotes from Gandhiji’s life.
A wonderful poem was presented that captured the attention of one and all present in special morning assembly. All the students were mesmerised while hearing about the worthy efforts of Gandhiji for making India Clean and Green. There was an amazing feeling of contentment filled with pride when the day ended with a promise to join hands and work towards making a better nation ahead.
The event was organised under the patronship of Respected Ms Mrinalini Principal of the school who paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
