T-3 CLUB – LOHAGAD FORT TREK-2026-27

Date: 8th August 2026

Venue: Lohagad

Participants: Students of Std IX and Std X

As part of the third T-3 Club activity of the academic year 2026–27, a trek to Lohagad Fort was organised for 36 students of Std. IX and X, accompanied by 6 teachers. The group departed from the school at 8:00 a.m. by school bus and reached Lohagad Fort at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, the students and teachers had breakfast before beginning the trek. The trekking activity continued for nearly two hours. The weather was rainy, with mist and fog covering the surrounding hills, creating a refreshing and scenic atmosphere. The participants trekked through the lush green surroundings and explored the fort while observing the beauty of the natural landscape.

The activity provided students with valuable opportunities to develop and demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. Students supported and encouraged one another throughout the trek and followed the instructions and safety guidelines given by the teachers.

After completing the trek, the group descended from the fort and had lunch. Following lunch and a short rest, the group began the return journey via Dinosaur Park Road.

During the return journey, some students were dropped at designated points with the consent and presence of their parents. The school bus reached the school at approximately 4:00 p.m. The remaining students left for home with their parents at around 4:15 p.m.

The Lohagad Fort Trek provided students with an enriching opportunity to engage in outdoor physical activity, experience the natural environment, explore a historical site, and strengthen important life skills and values such as teamwork, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. The activity was conducted successfully and concluded safely.
