As part of the Kaushal Bodh Skill Club, 123 students of Std VIII visited Eco Valley Farms & Foods Ltd., Bakori, Pune, for an educational field trip on button mushroom cultivation.
The session was conducted by Mr. Yogesh Satav and Mr. Rahul Gawade, who guided the students through the complete mushroom cultivation process, including compost preparation, spawning, incubation, casing, harvesting, grading, packaging, and cold storage. He also highlighted the importance of hygiene, environmental control, and sustainable farming practices.
The students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and recorded their observations in their notebooks. They maintained exemplary discipline throughout the visit, making the field trip an engaging and enriching experiential learning experience that successfully connected classroom concepts with real-world agricultural practices.
