World Environment Day Activity -LPS

Objective:

• To encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility towards the Earth.

Learning Outcomes:

• Students learned the value of reusing waste materials creatively.
• Students developed environmental awareness.
• Students enhanced their fine motor skills and creativity through art and craft.
• Students gained confidence by expressing their thoughts on caring for the Earth.

 On the occasion of World Environment Day, an engaging and creative activity was conducted for the students of Classes 1 to 3. Each child was given a circular cut-out along with pieces of waste paper to create a model of the Earth. The students enthusiastically pasted the pieces on the circle and transformed it into a beautiful representation of our planet.

After completing their artwork, the children shared one simple promise about how they would take care of the Earth. They spoke about planting trees, saving water, reducing waste, and keeping their surroundings clean.

The activity helped students understand the importance of protecting our environment while encouraging creativity and environmental awareness. It was a fun-filled and meaningful learning experience for all.
