Middle School Parent Orientation Report (2026–27)
The Middle School Parent Orientation, held on April 7th, marked the beginning of a collaborative journey between the school and parents for the new academic year. The session began with a warm welcome, followed by the introduction of the faculty members, familiarising parents with the dedicated team guiding their children.
An in-depth overview of the academic programme was presented, detailing the curriculum framework, core subjects, and co-curricular activities aimed at fostering holistic development. The assessment structure, grading system, progressive increase in syllabus for the yearly examination, and the promotion policy for Std VIII were also clearly explained.
Parents were introduced to the Skill Education programme, which focuses on nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and practical life skills—preparing students not just for exams, but for life beyond the classroom.
The session also highlighted the school’s discipline policy, outlining expectations regarding student behaviour, the code of conduct, and the support systems in place to ensure student wellbeing.
An insightful segment by the school counsellor offered valuable parenting tips, emphasising the importance of open communication, structured routines, positive reinforcement, and emotional support in a child’s overall development. Parents were encouraged to maintain a strong partnership with the school to effectively support their children.
The Principal, in her address, shared the school’s vision and underscored the significance of values in education, along with the vital role of parent-school collaboration in shaping responsible individuals.
The school expressed its sincere appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of parents and reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing each student’s growth through a strong and supportive partnership.
